Lexus LFA Supercar is Jeremy Clarksons Favorite!

This orange car is a Lexus LFA and is 1 of 500 built. The A in the name stands for Apex. This vehicle was developed with Yamaha and tested at the Nurburgring and Fuji Speedway. The production car features a mid engine V10 producing 560hp and 354 lb-ft of torque with a 9000 rpm redline. The body features active aero and is made of a carbon reinforced polymer composite which makes up 65% of the vehicle. Development started in 2000 and the car was almost green lit in 2006 as an aluminum car before technology advances would delay the car and increase the price. The cars would have a hard time selling and the last cars were sold in 2020. Jeremy Clarkson would go on to describe the car as the best car he’s ever driven.
