After his KO win over the weekend over Bobby Green, Drew Dober enters the lw rankings at #14, and kicked out of the rankings
is Tony Ferguson.
2 and half years ago people were salivating for Tony to fight Khabib for the belt and Tony was on a 12 fight win streak.
The fight with Khabib didn’t happen, instead Tony fought Gaethje lost got TKOd, then lost to Oliveira, then lost to Dariush,
then lost to Chandler via brutal front kick to the face KO, and lost by choke to Nate Diaz.
One of the steepest recent declines of a top tier fighter in the UFC has led to him being out of the rankings.
1 weight class lower at featherweight, Alex Caceres enters the rankings after his big KO over Julian Erosa.
Alex is ranked #15, he kicks out Jonathan Pearce out of the rankings. Pearce enjoyed 2 weeks being a ranked fighter before
being ousted out of them. That’s a common thing with the rankings that may frustrate a lot of up and coming fighters, they work
so hard for so long to try and make it the rankings, finally get there, and then the following week someone in their division has a
great performance and kicks them out of the top 15.
The only division where you are always a top 10 fighter is the women’s featherweight division, because they don’t even have 10 fighters
on that weight class, but that also menas they don’t even have rankings.
