Nordic Kayaks K1 43

Tried NKs new K1 43 today and I got surprised only in a positive way. It was like sitting in my surfski, first time I felt very comfortable with that seat and foot plate. I tried the carbon x setup and there is not so much to add about the feeling of paddling a 6.5 kilos K1. You can probably imagine…
Anyway, my conclusion is that this little new friend is stable (43 cm wide and more stable than my Velox Spectra K1) and in a way comparable with the NK Storm surfski. Yet it is fast and surprisingly easy to drive. I managed to push it to the same max speed as my other K1. A K1 41 later to come from NK but for me I think the 43 is just enough, perfect for windy winterdays on the lake. #NKK143 #nordickayaks
