The Teaching of Writing in K-1

In the first of five videos in the series, Mr. Lacherza (Supervisor of Language Arts) shares how we teach students how to communicate clearly and effectively through opinion and argument writing from Kindergarten through Grade 12. This month we learned with Mrs. Finnegan (Kindergarten – Hubbard) and Mrs. Smith (Grade 1 – Tisdale) how the foundations for this important skill are set in the earliest grades.
